But do you think getting an Adsense account approved is an easy task? Not at all. I still remember back in 2006 when people can get Adsense account approval even with a blogspot domain and no quality content. But in 2018, things have changed, off-course for the good only.

If you are a blogger from USA, Canada or other countries, it is quite easy to get Adsense account approved. But for Asian countries( India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc) things are little different. Anway let’s find out some quick actionable Adsense Approval Tricks for Blogger in 2018.

Best Google Adsense Approval Tricks 2018 (Get your Adsense account approved in 1st attempt)

Don’t think that I will share some Adsense tricks which will approve your AdSense account without a website or without following the guidelines.

Sorry, I always follow a slow but steady process by following all best practices to get things done, as I want to stay in this blogosphere for a long time. 🙂 You should also follow the same as blogging takes time and then only you can make money gradually.

#1. Buy a custom domain (any TLD like .com, .net, .org etc)

As I said, blogging is not just like creating any website and make money using Google Adsense. Try to create a website for the long-term, taking care of all the quality checks. And the very first thing is your website address.

It should be always in a custom domain like BloggingJOY.com. Even if you are hosted on Google Blogspot or any web hosting company like I use Bluehost. Hostgator, Siteground etc.

If you ask me any kind of domain name tricks, then it is always better to buy a domain with .com extension. E.g. I have purchased bloggingjoy.com as my topics are applicable to any countries as I write about WordPress, blogging tips, web hosting tutorials, WP theme reviews etc. In case you are starting any country-specific website then you can buy .in extensions to target India based traffic.

You can buy any domain from Godaddy with the discounted price also. If you want to get a Free domain name, then you can go for Bluehost shared hosting plan where you will get a domain name free and save at least $15 for the first year.

#2. Have a clean design website with all necessary pages

Everyone likes a clean website and this rule applied for Adsense approval as well. Try to use a clean SEO optimized Blogger template or Adsense friendly WordPress theme (like Focus Blog Theme or Genesis Framework). Create all necessary pages like contact us, about us, privacy policy, terms of services, disclaimer etc.

#3. Contact US page with valid information

While creating a contact us page, make sure you are not only providing a contact form only. Make sure you are providing your business address or personal address, phone number, email address etc. The purpose is to validate the genuineness of the person behind the same.

Remember one thing, you will be receiving an Adsense address verification PIN and make sure you are providing genuine details on your website as well as while applying for Google Adsense.

I am not using Google Adsense ads on this website, and it is my choice. If you can see my contact page, I have provided a simple contact form. But if you are applying for Adsense program, this may not work.

#4. Apply with a business email for faster Adsense approval

If your website is hosted on any hosting plan, then it is quite easy to create an email address with your domain name extension. E.g. contact@bloggingjoy.com. This will help you to verify the ownership of the domain. That means faster Adsense verification process.

#5.  Build your website first with only quality content

Yes, just buying a .com domain and setting up your website is not at all enough. Make sure you are creating a blog or website by writing some quality content and a regular posting schedule.

Don’t just apply for Google Adsense within 1 month of creating the website. You should wait at least for 6 months. Make sure your website is having at least 15-20 articles. In case this is a niche website, then I am sure 15 articles will be too much.

Even if you have a website, without any traffic you can’t make a single penny from Google Adsense program. So, try to build the website traffic with time and then apply for Adsense. Your account will be applied immediately without any delay.

#6. Don’t show any ads on your website

There are various Google Adsense alternatives and ad networks out there like Media.net, Infolinks, Chitika, Kontera, MadAds Media, ClickSor, Qadabra, Buy Sell Ads etc. But to be very frank, there is no better alternative to Google Adsense.

So, if you have not yet applied for Adsense, then don’t try any of these even if your website is having no ads right now. Don’t take it in another way, you can make money using any of these Adsense alternatives anytime. But just to make sure your Adsense approval doesn’t get rejected you should follow this check as well.

#7. Don’t even think, If you are writing prohibited content

Never write or choose blogging niche like pornography, copyrighted content, pirated stuff etc. E.g. if your website is about download music or movies which are pirated or copy-righted then your account will not be approved. So make sure you are not sharing or using any copyrighted content, images, not even duplicate content.

#8. The language of your website

Not all language blogs are Google Adsense approved. Recently Google approved Adsense ads on Tamil content websites. So, you must check out the list of languages allowed to apply for Google Adsense.

#9. Have A Natural & Quality Link Profile

Try to build quality backlinks for your website slowly and from relevant sources only. If your website gets huge back-link from spam sites or irrelevant niches in a short period of time, then there will be a high chance that your website may be marked as spam and your Adsense account application may get rejected.

#10. Read the Google Adsense policy first

Mostly we ignore any kind of policy or terms & conditions. That’s the reason I kept this point last so that after reading the 9 points I am sure you might be little aware of the importance of following these best practices before applying for Google Adsense account. So, read the Adsense policies in detail first and then apply for Google Adsense, so that your account can’t get rejected.

  2. Hey Santano!

    Great post there.

I got my AdSense account in 2011. It was such a breeze. All I had to do was have a Gmail account. lol. Today, it is tough.

I wanted to help my brother get his account, too, and this is great TBH. I am sure if anyone will follow this checklist they will be fine.

If anyone is reading this, please do not ignore the part where Santano talks about your ‘Privacy Policy” and ‘Contact Us’ pages. In fact, every website using Google AdSense must have this or you might be banned.

    Cheers!

    • Many thanks for your inputs here. I am regularly following a couple of Facebook Groups and other forums where people are posting frequently queries related to Adsense account approval etc. I tried to collect all the valid points here so that one can get Adsense approval in first attempt only.

  3. I personally got AdSense approval for my 2weeks old blog BlogsNg (dot) com I was having less than 10articles.

all I can say about AdSense is : concentrate on your blog design. both mobile and PC view. then Write original indept articles.

Traffic doesn’t really matter because i got mine AdSense when i was still having less than 20daily page views for my new blog.

    • Many Thanks, Kennedy for sharing your experience. You are 100% correct, traffic is not a must-have criterion. Rather create a well-structured website will all necessary pages, responsive design, quality content and good user experience to get Adsense approved.

  4. Thanks for sharing these tips.

But, Google AdSense doesn’t really need ad-free blogs before approval.

I have self sponsored ads on my 2months old blog when I applied for AdSense and it was approved.

I do think and always advise my readers that good user engagements and easy to understand contents really speaks.

I had less than 8 contents and over 25 comments on my blog (8 weeks old) and got approved.

Thanks for these tips once again as they play vital role in getting an approval into the network.

    • If your majority of traffic is from India or any of the Asian countries, then this is normal only. To make more money with Adsense, you have to bring traffic from the USA, Canada etc countries.
